Signed Waterford crystal ashtray, over 5 pounds of solid high-quality crystal.

Big and beautiful Waterford cut crystal ashtray with the acid-etch signature used between 1950 and 1998. Sparkles and shines like the day it was made. High refractive quality catches colors from nearby objects.

Made with real lead crystal. Waterford doesn’t make ashtrays anymore. In fact, lead isn’t used anymore in most of their modern product line. Circa 1990’s or earlier.

Lead crystal, combined with the cutting, reflects all colors nearby. It sparkles and shines like no other form of glass. ‘Crystal’ is glass, with the defining ingredient of lead. Without lead, it is not crystal.’Lead Crystal’ is rarely made today.

Marked with the old acid stamp put in use in 1950. Waterford products are marked with a Sea Horse since 1998. In like-new condition. Made in Ireland. Measures 6″ round, 2¼” tall. Weighs 5½ pounds.
