Mid-Century hand-made glass ashtray weighs FOUR pounds.
Solid, thick vintage crystal made the old-fashioned way…by hand. This is a Scandinavian piece, possibly by Pukeburg (Sweden) or Kosta Boda (Sweden). It was cast by pouring molten glass into a clay or wood mold. Made in the 1960s-1970s. In like-new condition.
The décor is raised on the base and smooth on the surface. Sports 4 rests and a wide ledge with a 1.5″ deep bowl. Measures 6″ square, 2″ tall.
Lovely accent piece for Retro, Modernist or Swedish Modern décor styles. Colorless glass picks up surrounding colors and glitters like diamonds. Very well-made.
