Beautiful vintage hand blown glass duck speckled in white, pink and gold. This is a cigar ashtray, disguised as a duck. The single rest forms the duck’s tail.  Shown in image 4 with a 6″ long cigar.  Nice deep bowl to receive the ashes.  Also functions well as a pipe ashtray.

Artistic vintage hand blown glass, probably made in Italy, circa mid-20th century. Made completely by hand with a mottled gather of pink, white and gold aventurine glass (see image 3 for closeup).  The neck and head was stretched to form, causing the colored mottled glass to elongate.  The yellow and black eyes, and colorless bill, were formed by hand and applied to the duck body.  It was very well made.

In like-new condition with mild bottom wear on the polished flat base. It’s a large duck ashtray, measuring 7″ long, 5″ at widest, 2.5″ deep bowl, and weighs 1.10 lbs. [color-box]More About Italian, Murano, Venetian Glass[/color-box]
