Scarce Blenko Art Glass hot sun ashtray in golden amber.
Mid-century modern design sun face appears to be red-eyed and melting. Made in the USA, late 1960s to 1970s. Seven pounds of luscious Blenko amber glass. Great for patio, poolside and sun deck.
Big and heavy, can’t get pushed around. Will rest a cigar on the ledge. Four cigarette size indented rests. The pattern was pressed into the seat. The inside well is smooth but has hills and valleys created by the pattern on the reverse. These smooth bumps are great in assisting snuff-outs.
