Beautiful pressed and etched crystal ashtray set of two in high-quality crystal.
The lead crystal glass is thick and heavy. Cut and etched florals and cross-hatch were done by hand. Both reflect the colors around them as brilliant crystal should.
This could be American made, or Polish made, but the quality of decor and crystal point to Czechoslovakia during WWII when the area was controlled by Germany. Quality pressed glass was ordered by Germany to be made in most Czech glass houses for export during German occupation.
Ashtray bowl weighs 1lb, measures 4.5 inches round and 2.5 inches tall with 8 rests and deep bowl to retain debris. It is in perfect condition. Ashtray plate weighs 1.2lbs, measures 6 inches round and 1 inch tall with ring of rests. Both in nearly like-new condtion with some expected bottom-wear. Perfect for your fancy butts, pipes, cigars.
