Space-age Viking hand-made glass ashtray – scarce.
Hand-made by Viking Art Glass in the 1950s to early 1960s. Many decor items in this race to space period were made in what was then considered ‘futuristic’ forms. The ‘Astra’ is rarely seen today.
Big 11″ long ashtray. Yesteryear’s ashtrays were often focal points of the room’s decor. Great for the coffee table. Use as a catch-all or candleholder (remove metal from modern candles before burning in vintage glass) when not in ash service. Amber glass goes with all color schemes. Measures 11″ x 5″, 1.25″ tall.
