Like something you'd see among the fabulous decor on the set of Sophia Loren movies. Made in mid-20th Century Italy by glassblowers on the isle of Murano. Quality glass with lead, heavy and brilliant. Dark teal blue graduating to colorless. Beautiful and elegant.

Stands 3″ tall with a nice deep bowl. Measures 9.5″ long, 6.5″ at widest and weighs just over 3 lbs. Two large hand-formed rests can accommodate cigars and smaller smokes. Gently slanted inward slopes make perfect pipe rests. Beautiful as a catch-all or candle holder when not in ash service. Remember to remove any metal from the candle before burning in antique/vintage glass.

In great condition. The only wear is on the base which has heavy bottom-wear because it's such a heavy object. Over the years, tiny scratches accumulate by contact with the surface. Bottom-wear cannot be seen unless the object is turned upside down. Heavy bottom-wear is a sign of age and is expected on heavy antique or vintage glass objects.
