Luxurious Royal Haeger ashtray in the Gold Tweed pattern made with real 22k gold. Beautiful regal ashtray with deep bowl and three one inch wide rimmed cradle rests suitable for cigars or smaller.
Your smoke will float level above the 1¾” deep bowl. Recessed ash bowl helps keep the mess inside. Well designed for its purpose.
Royal Haeger was pottery factory in the U.S.A., very popular in the 1940’s to 1960’s. The company is no longer in business. The ashtray is marked Royal Haeger R1941-S USA on the base. Read more about Haeger Potteries.
It is in excellent condition. The gold is 100%. The previous owner used felt tabs on the base to prevent bottom-wear. You can see the remnants of the base pads in image 4. These pads can easily be removed by soaking in soapy water. We’ve left the deteriorated felt pads on to show this nearly 70 year old ashtray will not have signs of bottom-wear from surface contact. New owner should replace old felt pads to retain 100% original condition. Hand-wash only to preserve the gold.
