Awesome L.E. Smith Glass, Moon & Star pattern ashtray made in the 1940s – 1960s.
Deep full moons with stars in the center encircle a large center star, in a beautiful blue. Original Moon & Star pattern was designed in the late 1800’s. The pattern, with slight variations survived in popularity until the 1970’s.
Great ashtray for that “once in a blue moon” smoke. Makes a fine incense burner or candleholder when not in ash service. Measures 8.25″ wide, 1.5″ tall, weighs 2 lbs. Six large rests.
