Mesmerizing mid-century Murano art glass ashtray hand-made by a master of the craft. Solid vintage crystal with intentional interior bubbles and round emerald ‘ink stain’ center.
Sports a deep bowl with 2 cigar-sized rests. Base is polished flat. Estimated circa 1950 to 1970. Authentic vintage mid-century Murano. Made in Italy on the isle of Murano. Substantial glass weighs just under 2 lbs. Measures 5.5″ round, 2.5″ tall.
In very good condition with some light use scratching, must look closely to see. Base has ‘bottom-wear’, tiny scratches that accumulate with age and surface contact. Bottom-wear cannot be seen unless looked for, it is not considered damage. It is a sign of age. No chips or cracks.
