Hand-formed thick vintage Scandinavian art glass.
Made of smoky black lead crystal with just a hint of mossy green. The artist applied a little fat sitting duck of clear crystal. The artistic styling and quality glass points to a fine mid-20th century glasshouse like Kosta or Holmegaard. Two rests can accommodate cigars or smaller. Deep well to catch the debris. In perfect condition.
Weighs 2.8 lbs! Thick and heavy. Measures 4.25″ tall to top of duck’s head. Each side of the triangle measures 6″ long. The ash well is 2.25″ deep.[color-box]More about Scandinavian Glass[/color-box]
