Deep Cherry Red Mid-Century Art Glass Ashtray by Italy’s Infamous Fratelli Toso Glassworks
Mid-century art glass ashtray with remnant of original Fratelli Toso label. Fratelli Toso was a family run glassworks operating between 1854 and 1982 in Venice, Italy.
Expertly crafted by hand, blown in sommerso (two colors together) cherry red and colorless. Â Trapped within the glass are intentional bubbles. Two deep cradle rests formed by hand tool. Â Fashionable mid-century art glass clam shell form.
