Mid-20th Century Tiffin elegant amethyst crystal ashtray. High quality vintage colored crystal. Circa early 1960’s.

This amethyst color was called ‘Plum’, a regal jewel-like purple that lightens and darkens with the thickness of the glass. The pattern is known to Tiffin collectors as Clover.

Large vintage colored crystal ashtray measures 6.25″ round, 1¾” tall, and weighs two pounds. Has four 1½” long, ¾” wide ramp cradle  rests to hold the smokes well above the ash receiving surface. Rests are sized for cigars but appropriate for all size smokes.

In excellent condition. Glass is clean, bright and sparkling like a jewel. Sharp corners are undamaged.
