Beautiful Vintage Gold Bullicante Glass Handmade Ashtray from Italy
Vintage gold inclusions shimmering among intentional internal bubbles gives this art glass ashtray the most luxurious look. Made of thick hand-formed Italian glass, circa 1950’s.
Substantial vintage gold ashtray weighs nearly two and a half pounds and measures 6″ round and 2.25 inches tall. The veiled gold is trapped among the bubbles and cased in clear quality glass.
Base is polished flat with light bottom-wear (small scratches from years of surface contact). It is in excellent condition. Three large cradle rests accommodate cigars and smaller smokes. Deep bowl retains the ashes and allows the smoke to float over the bowl. Stunning.
Made in Italy in the Venetian style, estimated circa 1950.
