Hand-formed Sommerso glass ashtray in peach and colorless crystal by Skrdlovice glass factory, in the former Czechoslovakia.
Features two hand-formed 1¾ inch long, ¾ inch wide smoke rests that can accommodate large and small smokes. Two smooth slanted walls on either side of rests are perfect for pipe resting.
Thick glass free-formed into an ashtray looks like frozen liquid. The artist gathered colorless crystal with peach colored crystal, brought the gather to molten in the furnace and then formed as one with hand tool.
Not too large, not too small. Measures 5¼ inches at longest and 5¼ inches at widest. Stands 2¼ inches tall, weighs 1¼ pounds. In excellent condition.
