Brutalist decor ashtray made to look as if it has been brutalized!
In dark avocado green glass with cracked silver inlaid metallic decor. The silver reflects surrounding colors, sometimes making it look as if other colors are present, as in image 1. The decor has been cased with clear glass, protecting it, and proving the cracks and discoloration in the metallic decor were created on purpose. Due to the clear glass casing the decor will not erode, it is encased in the glass.
Weighs 1.6lbs, measures 7.5 inches long, 5″ wide, 1 inch tall. One long 3/4-inch-wide rest (suitable for cigars, smaller smokes, incense sticks) with 1.5-inch-wide ledges suitable for all smokes and paraphernalia. The base color of the glass is dark olive green, which can be seen when held to light, but appears black under normal lighting conditions. Made with the slumped glass technique, pouring glass into a premade open-faced mold. The mold in this case has a pebbly texture on the seat/base.
It is in great condition with the only flaw being a shallow, light scratch on the edge of corner. No chips or cracks. Glass is healthy and clean.
