Scarce Blenko ashtray with late 1970s label.
Label reads “Blenko, Milton W. VA 793S”. The first two numerals on the part number denote the date 1979, the next numeral “3” refers to the third design of 1979. The “S” means small.
Blenko’s idea of “small” is anything that isn’t really huge. This ashtray is not small…at all. It weighs 3.5 lbs and measures 8.25″ round, 2″ tall. Made with thick clear glass with a ridged sea green bullseye decor in the center. Large flat rim will accommodate cigars.
Scarce example. This ashtray is not easy to find.
