Mid-Century hand-blown Blenko bubble art glass ashtray designed by Wayne Husted
The Blenko bubble ashtray is shown in old Blenko catalogs as part no. 508. Â The part number indicates the form was designed in the early 1950’s before Blenko’s part number dating system. Â Design created by the one of Blenko Art Glass’ early designers, Wayne Husted who worked with Blenko between 1953 and 1963.
Beautiful thick, well-made vintage glass with controlled trapped air bubble decor.  Warm honey amber glass color goes well with any color scheme. Hand-blown with soft pontil mark on the seat. Big Blenko bubble Measures 7.5″ round, 3″ tall and weighs a whopping 4 lbs.  Cigar shown is 7″ long.  Three hand-formed rests hold your smoke well above the deep and ample bowl.
