Quality, decor and function come together in this well-designed ashtray by Adolph Matura in the former Czechoslovakia.
Easy rest access from any direction. Twelve wide cradle rests encircle the rim and securely hold the smoke well above the deep bowl ash receiver.
By the infamous designer Adolph Matura for Rosice, Sklo Union pattern no. 983. Rosice was founded in 1920 but closed in 1921. It began production again in 1928, only to close again in 1931. Production for a third time began in 1934. In 1965, Rosice became part of the Sklo Union group. Production ceased for the last time 1996.
Not too big, not too small. Will accommodate cigars, cigarettes and smaller. A stylish and highly functional ashtray design.

Weighs just under 2 lbs. Measures 6.25″ round, 2.25″ tall. Retro green colored crystal. Circa 1965 – 1970. In like-new condition. Hefty quality vintage glass.
