Many ashtrays made from the 1900’s to the 1980’s were designed by creative artists and were hand-crafted in glass or pottery studios throughout the world. They were decorative works of art designed for usefulness and longevity.
Designed by a modern descendant of the timeless Seguso family of glass masters from Italy. Their craft was passed down from father to son for 22 generations, beginning in 1397.
At Big Ashtray, we search high and low for quality vintage ashtrays and select the best of the best. Each item is cleaned, inspected and sanitized. Individual imaging is done in our own studio. Full detailed descriptions accompany each product and maker information is shown when available. Shipping is done with care, assuring each treasure survives the trip to its new home.
Big Ashtray’s vintage collection is full of hard to find survivors of days-gone-by. Mostly made of porcelain or glass, breakage has caused a scarcity of these beautiful relics of the past. We’ve documented ashtrays for over 10 years, and are proud to archive the art ashtrays for history.
