Beautiful and elusive Blenko Rose glass ashtray by Blenko Art Glass.
This rich pink color was produced between 1963 and 1964 only. Made by hand in West Virginia, USA.
The ashtray form is shown in Blenko’s archived catalogs as part number 624 (9″). According to Blenko’s numbering system, this form was the fourth design created in 1962.
It was produced for only two years (1963 and 1964) in the Blenko Rose color and made in two sizes; 6″ and 9 3/8″. This ashtray is just over 9 3/8″ wide.

Well-designed ashtray has a 2″ deep curving bowl to help catch and keep the ashes. Four 3/8″ wide hand-tooled rests taper down for a firm grip on the smoke. Flat, 3/4″ wide ledge provides accessory area. Weighs 2½ lbs.
