Mid-Century big bubble ashtray designed by Blenko’s Wayne Husted.

The Blenko bubble ashtray is shown in old Blenko catalogs as part no. 508. The part number indicates the form was designed in the early 1950’s before Blenko’s part number dating system. Design created by the one of Blenko Art Glass’ early designers, Wayne Husted who worked with Blenko between 1953 and 1963.

Beautiful thick, well-made vintage glass with controlled trapped air bubble decor. Warm honey amber glass color goes well with any color scheme. Hand-blown with soft pontil mark on the seat.

Big Blenko bubble ashtray measures 5¾″ round, 2¼”″ tall and weighs a whopping 2 lbs. Three hand-formed rests hold your smoke well above the deep and ample bowl. In like-new condition.
