Lapid Israel Stoneware was in business from 1952-1980. This vintage art ashtray is at least 36 years old. In original new condition with felt base protectors added.
The stoneware appears to be made of local Israel sand. The hand-painted decor appears to be a funky native face, perhaps cave art. A clear glaze has been applied over the artwork.
Six rests accommodate cigars and smaller smokes. Measures 9.75″ long, 7.5″ at widest and 1.25″ tall.
Perfect for the Tiki bar, patio or man cave.
