Mid-20th Century elegant colored Tiffin crystal ashtray set by Tiffin, USA.
High quality vintage Tiffin crystal. Circa 1940 – 1950’s. The color was called ‘Chestnut’, a dark brown that lightens and darkens with the thickness of the glass. Has a slight tint of dark avocado.
The large Tiffin crystal ashtray measures 6.25″ round, 1.5″ tall, and weighs two pounds. The smaller ashtray measures 4.75″ round, 1″ tall, weighs 1 lb. Both have 3 cradle ramp rests to fit cigars and smaller.
The large ashtray still retains the old Tiffin shield label, circa 1940’s – 1950’s. Both ashtrays have a couple slight chiggers on the sharp edges. Cannot be seen unless examined closely. Priced accordingly.
