This beautiful Depression crystal Art Deco ashtray is acid etched on the reverse in frosted Anthurium decor, Georgia O’Keefe style.
The hand applied acid etched decor is on the reverse and glows through to the surface in a ghosty display of heart shaped flowers with long stamin and foliage. Very beautiful Art Deco ashtray.
Measures 7″ long, 3.5″ wide, 1.5″ tall. Four tapered rests fit cigars or smaller smokes. Nice deep well. In near perfect condition with a couple light scratches that can be seen when held to the light. The glass was hand-formed and contains a few unintentional bubbles. Probably made by Fostoria, an early to mid 20th century elegant glass house in the USA. Art deco ashtray, circa 1930’s – 1940’s.
