Hard to find matching set of Viking Art Glass crackled ashtrays. The largest ashtray is huge and heavy – perfect for big parties. Both ashtrays have deep bowls and tapered squeeze rests. The deep bowl helps keep the mess inside and the tapered rests can hold cigarettes and smaller.
Hand made in the 1970s by Viking Art Glass, USA. Original catalog part numbers 6828 and 1035. The huge ashtray is 10″ wide, weighs 4½ lbs, and the big ashtray is 6½” wide, weighs 2½ lbs. Both are 2½” deep.
Unique set, both made at the same time. The color and crackle match perfectly. Often the colors varied slightly from batch to batch with handmade glass. The crackle size would vary too. These ashtrays are uniform in color and crackle size. Great quality vintage art glass.
