Description
Elegant vintage art glass in fire red with a yellow flame essence.
From a luscious line of high-end hand-formed colored crystal called “Empress” in the 1960s. Tiffin was a luxury glasshouse in America during the first 3/4 of the 20th Century.
This beautiful ashtray bowl weighs 4.5 lbs. Very heavy chunk of clear crystal with fire red and hints of yellow encased decor. The color is called “Flame”. As the crystal glimmers in the light, a yellow color is reflected around the edges of the red. Superb design includes
Five cigar-sized rests, thick “handle” ledges for lifting (it takes two hands to lift it), a flat polished base with a half-moon polished pontil scar, and a deep bowl. Measures 7.5″ wide, 2″ tall and weighs 4.5 lbs.
