Rich emerald green fine hand-blown colored crystal ashtray bowl with concentric bubbles.
Luxurious mid-20th Century cigar ashtray made with quality green crystal. The crystal is so reflective it is hard to image because it picks up the white of the shoot tent. Without the reflections, this big ash bowl clearly shows the concentric trapped air-bubbles.
Hand-made with an inverted soft pontil mark on the base. Probably made in Italy or Scandinavia. Although it looks like a Blenko Art Glass (American) design, we can say this is definitely not a Blenko because the glass has a lead content. Circa 1940s – 1960s.
Beautiful. Worthy of the finest cigars. Measures 8½” round and 3″ tall. Nice deep bowl with inverted rims. Big. Weighs just under 4 lbs.
