Description
Beautiful blue glass encasing real silver flake.
Made in 1950’s Italy in Venetian style on the Isle of Murano. This luxurious free-flowing jewel-like glass internally decorated with real silver was formed by hand and mouth by an Italian glassblower of great skill.
The label reads: Genuine Venetian Glass Handmade on the Isle of Murano. The shape, words, and color of the label tell us it is from the mid-century era and was probably exported to the U.S.A. The glasshouses of the day used generic labels on export glass.
Measures 5″ x 5″, 5.5″ diagonally, 2.75″ tall, and weighs 1.4 lbs.
