Vintage Spanish style cigar rest by Secla, Portugal.
Signed P.2615, Secla Made in Portugal. The ‘P’ stands for Pinto Ribeiro (1921-1989), who founded Secla in 1944. The decor of this ashtray and the avocado green color points to the mid-century, 1950s-1960s. Secla is still in business today, providing decor pottery for major high-end stores.
Single extra-long rest leads to big deep bowl that catches the ashes. Measures 8″ long, 5″ at widest and 1.5″ tall.
