Description
Stunning cherry red with platinum flecks blown glass pipe. Vintage 1950s – 1960’s era Murano art glass pipe is in excellent condition with medium bottom-wear on polished flat base (scoot marks on the base where it has rubbed against a surface for many years).
Solid black handle is attached to heavy cased glass bowl with intentional bubbles and a generous amount of silver/platinum foil flecks. Outer glass layer is colorless, inner layer is a deep cherry red.
These useful whimsey’s were made by many Italian makers. This one is was made by one of the finer Murano/Venetian/Italian glass blowers, very nice quality. Big glass pipe measures 6″ long, 2.5″ at tallest, 2.25″ deep bowl.
