Redware ash receiver with a rest for a pipe, a wide rest for cigars, and a small rest for smaller smokes.
This versatile redware bowl sports the “Prairie Green” glaze from Frankoma. This ash bowl in not signed (Frankoma pieces are usually signed). Probably from a very old production. Frankoma offered the Prairie Green glaze from 1939 to 1995. The company is no longer in business.
Pleasing light turquoise green and velvety brown glaze. Felt tabs applied to base have protected it from base-wear. Large, deep bowl (helps keep the mess in) with 3 different sized rests. One rest is fat and flat for cigars; another is long and skinny for small smokes. Doubles as an incense and/or candle holder. Measures 7.” long, 5″ wide and 2″ deep.
In excellent condition. Notice the ashtray has dual-size for both cigars and cigarettes.
