Vintage Italian glass tri-corner freeform ashtray bowl with internal orange murrine cane and silver leaf decor.
The inner casing is very dark red, appearing black. Outer casing is colorless glass. Trapped within the black and colorless glass is the cane and silver decor. Has a distinctive “Jungle’ look. This color combination is often referred to as “Fire and Ice”
The popular decor style was made by many famous Italian glass makers like A.Ve.M., Toso, Ferro, Dino Martins, Barbini and more in the 1950’s.
Measures 5.5″ at widest and 2¼″ tall. Rests accommodate cigars or smaller. In original condition with a couple internal air bubbles resulting from the hand-crafted process.
Looks gorgeous on the side table. Doubles as a catch-all, incense burner, candle holder, etc. when not in ash service.
